Michigan has a special place in my heart (it’s where I got married!) so I loved working on this design for a sweet Chicago couple planning to tie the knot in Grand Rapids. They wanted an overall elegant feel, with touched of whimsical watercolor. So, we created a one-color letterpress invitation design, that features a floral wreath crest and elegant, modern calligraphy. That’s paired with more whimsical inset cards - featuring a watercolor version fo the wreath crest, a map of Grand Rapids, and even a watercolor version of “the mitten”.

We chose dusty blue envelopes and tied the suite together with a cream silk ribbon. Just perfect!

Crissie is such a talented and gifted artist and is phenomenal to work with! From the moment we discussed the wedding invitation collection, she listened to my vision and made it come to life by creating a stunning, custom invitation design! The highlight of the creation was a Map of my hometown complete with individual hand painted destinations on the map. We also loved our custom Crest! Crissie is very detail oriented and has a great turnaround time.
Throughout the entire process she offered great recommendations and suggestions.
